At least Palin spoke out against death panels. It seems that Krugman sees them as solution to rising healthcare costs.
The ol' bait and switch is used in defending the health care reform bill.
Maybe the wording should be not refuse treatment but let patients out before they are ready and with minimal care - I have seen this more than I care to admit - Too bad they were uninsured. I also lived through a case where my daughter was ready to come home but because we were insured well they would not let her go because she needed to be monitored still for a few more days then when I called my called my insurance company and they decided they would no longer cover that ailment then poof she was ready to be released in less than an hour the same day. As for attorneys for the refusal to treat- not that easy to prove. They just leave them in the waiting room at the emergency room for hours and ignore them- thats not refusal it just depends on if the poor uninsured person can hold out. My brother had to wait 7 hours one evening til he finally got someone to see him then he got a couple stitches in his knee and a couple aspirin and sent out the door though a shot to numb the area would have been better it was not necessary and he didn't have insurance so too bad I guess.
Perhaps you haven't lived long enough or not in the right area to be polled, have you ever thought of that. Why can't you Obama non-supporters understand the shape the Bush Administration left our country. Bush had already increased the national debt, so it was added on to Obama. And what really mad it bad is Bush did start with a credit, therefore, he used that money and other money which resulted in national debt. And what makes it truly bad is people was losing their jobs and homes. If you want to be fair, you have to look at the whole picture and not just when Obama was elected. What does it mean to be fair in America?
Paul, you are right. GWB helped keep our deficit low by creating Homeland Security, the largest branch of gov created in over 50 years. Those record budgets that bush put up were only to raise the bar for Dems.

I think you all are right on. The system could not work any better than it does now. I think all health care decissions should be based on how it will affect the Ins. companys profit. I think I'll just sit back now and complain aboout people trying to change our great health care system and offer no suggestions of my own.

I agree with you all the way! All he has done is increase the national debt, a lot more than any other president in the history of The United States of America.
If it were possible I would be in favor of impeachment.
